#346Whenever a volunteer is created and saved to the database via the CSV Importer, they are assigned a default password of "Secret!!". Upon creation of these volunteers, they should be sent an email explaining what their current password is(mentioned above) and that is is not very safe. - Utilize Devise emailing templates - Trigger email using controller/model for volunteer import functionality.
#326Currently there is an issue when importing volunteers where the email field cannot be pulled in from the CSV field because it is not an attribute on the Volunteer Model. In order to solve this issue, the email field provided in the CSV should be used to first create a user, along with the appropriate permissions see Issue #324 . With this in place, the user email can then be used in the creation of the volunteer, allowing for the DB to be populated with the new entry. - Create functionality that will pull in the PERMISSIONS provided from the CSV File to be used in the creation of a new user, linked to the volunteer being created.
#854# Bug Report ## What is the current behavior? Currently the SignUp form is designed like this ## What is the expected behavior? The form should flow in one direction from top to bottom. ## Why is it bad? It is a good UX practise to design the form with single columns instead of multi-column
5. Avoid placing questions side-by-side. Eye-tracking studies have shown that simple one-column layouts are better than multi-column layouts with questions positioned side-by-side. The only exception to this rule is when asking for dates (day, month, year) or time (hours and minutes), where multiple fields are expected to be on one line.
Source- https://www.ventureharbour.com/form-design-best-practices/ Although there is a blog saying that multi-column form worked great for them but they were having 13 fields so it was very long. Since the registration form just has 7 fields. It would be better to make them single column. Also it would not be longer than this since the required error will go to the right side
